Shinmade Attends TPM Awards Ceremony 2025, Becoming the First Domestic Winner of TPM Excellent Continuation Award in Pickling, Rolling, Coating and Plating Industry

Upholding the corporate tenet Sincerity, Benevolence, Integration and Co-prosperity, the 2025 TPM Awards Ceremony, widely known as the "Nobel Prize in Manufacturing", was held recently in Kyoto, Japan. Enterprise representatives from more than ten countries including China, Argentina, Italy, India, Mexico and Japan gathered at the event to witness the presentation of annual TPM awards.

The list of awardees featured world-renowned corporations such as Tetra Pak Ltda, Sigma Electric Limited and Owens Corning Ltd., as well as outstanding Chinese enterprises including PepsiCo Foods, Yili Group, Junlebao Dairy Group, Panasonic Wanbao and Shandong Shinmade Technology Materials Co., Ltd.

Shinmade has officially been granted the TPM Excellent Continuation Award, making it the first company in China’s pickling, rolling, coating and plating sector to receive this prestigious honor. This achievement proves that the company’s refined management capabilities have reached an internationally advanced level.

Shinmade introduced the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) management system in 2013. It has gradually set up eight specialized committees and established a dedicated TPM Promotion Department to drive overall implementation. The company began pursuing JIPM TPM awards in 2020 to further optimize management performance. It claimed the TPM Excellent Award for the first time in 2023, and successfully passed the assessment for the higher-level TPM Excellent Continuation Award in 2025, achieving steady progress and breakthroughs.

Moving forward, Shinmade will further deepen TPM implementation, strengthen comprehensive operational capabilities, and strive to emerge as a leader that propels the steel sheet industry toward world-class manufacturing standards.
